Jon and Lisa Meier began a business ownership venture in the summer of 2017 utilizing their joint knowledge, experience and vision. They determined that by providing home healthcare agencies accurate coding, OASIS integrity and timely completion to RAP, allowing them improved financial outcomes, the agencies could focus their time and energy on improved patient outcomes and reductions in acute care hospitalization rates. Jon and Lisa have sought out a knowledgeable and experienced team to work with them who have the same commitments to accuracy, timeliness and integrity that they do. All staff in the coding team are RNs who have worked in the Home Healthcare industry and have gone on to acquire Certifications in Coding and/or OASIS Review.
Jon has been a nurse for 13 years and has worked in many different aspects of healthcare. Over 10 years of his experience has been in Home Healthcare and Hospice. He has worked in nearly every aspect of the business including: Case Management, Quality Review, Clinical Educator, Clinical Supervisor, Director of Operations and Administrator. It is his belief and mission to provide both a commitment and excellent service to customers and employees. He wishes to identify any process improvements that will allow accurate and expedited time to RAP. He believes in attention to Home Health Compare scores, improved OASIS integrity allowing higher scores and attention to process improvement data – improving time to RAP and maximizing financial outcomes.
Lisa has been a nurse for 25 years and has also worked in many different aspects of healthcare. Over 8 years of her career have been in Home Healthcare and Hospice. She has experience as a Case Manager, Clinical Supervisor and Operations Manager. Lisa has made it a mission to understand Home Healthcare as a business, educate staff in providing accurate, timely and quality documentation and to increase productivity while improving patient outcomes and decreasing acute care hospitalization rates. Lisa helped design their business model of assisting agencies in the quality and review work process thereby allowing them time to focus on direct patient care and improved patient outcomes with reduction in hospitalization rates.
Jon and Lisa have been long term contributors to the home health care world, by each serving in a variety of roles and settings. Because of the multiple hats they have worn, throughout the years, they can assist with OASIS and Coding services confidently. They strive to work with those that are certified, maintain certification status and thus, can provide assurance to the client served that the work is accurate. They know the home care world well and are honest and reputable in their decision-making. The services they provide are a true reflection of their integrity as professionals. I would select their services to meet these needs any time!
I have worked with Jon and Lisa within the home healthcare business for over 5 years. During that time they have continually shown me how driven to succeed at helping home health agencies become successful and improving time to RAP, assuring accurate coding and how important it is to know about the accuracy of OASIS. They always want to know how to do it better and more efficiently.
Jon has worked his way through the business, starting as a case manager, and worked at nearly every desk within the agency at one point or another. He has worn many hats and learned many aspects of the business over the years. It has always been a desire of his to develop the business to be better, to become more. He loves to always want those numbers to look better. I would always want him on my team when providing any service related to home health care.
